The Verdict
WHOOP Recovery is the gold standard for recovery scoring — the HRV-based methodology is excellent. But WHOOP is a measurement tool, not a coaching tool. If you're paying $30/month for recovery data that you then have to manually interpret and act on, you're doing the hard part yourself.
